Good evening everyone, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Daryl, Michael's very proud dad.

First things first, a huge thank you to everyone for coming today and celebrating with Michael and Zara. It means the world to both of them, and of course, to me.

Looking at Michael up there, so happy with Zara by his side, it brings back a lot of memories. You see, Michael and I, we've always been a bit of a team. We both have a creative streak – a messy house to prove it at times! – and a shared love for the mighty Rotherham United. Many a Saturday spent cheering them on, win or lose.

Life hasn't always been easy, especially when [partner's name] left. But you know what? We got through it together. We may look alike, but Michael's always been the quiet, thoughtful one, while I'm the one making all the noise. But that's a good thing, it balances us out, you see?

So, Zara, when Michael first brought you home, well, let's just say it wasn't often he brought anyone home. But you, Zara, you brought a light into his life, a warmth I hadn't seen in a long time. You're kind, funny, and you somehow manage to put up with both of us!

Michael, son, I'm so incredibly proud of the man you've become. You've faced challenges head-on, and you've found your happily ever after. Speaking of which, Zara, welcome to the family – officially!

Now, I know Michael might be a bit nervous about the whole father-in-law thing, but let me tell you something, I can't wait to be a grandad!  Just a heads up though, Michael, any DIY disasters around the house – that's your department, not mine!

On a serious note, you two are a perfect match. Remember, communication is key, laugh together often, and never go to bed angry. But most importantly, cherish each other.

So, everyone, please raise your glasses with me. To Michael and Zara, a lifetime of love, laughter, and maybe even a few more trips to the Millers! Cheers!
